Digital accessibility for Alghero Airport

We firmly believe that the Internet should be available and accessible to everyone, and we are committed to providing accessible contact points to the widest possible audience, regardless of circumstances and abilities.
To this end, SOGEAAL SpA, the management company of Alghero Airport, works in collaboration with AccessiWay, a partner specialised in digital accessibility, to adhere as closely as possible to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
These guidelines explain how to make web content accessible to people with a wide range of needs: people who are blind or visually impaired, with motor, cognitive, neurological or sensory disabilities.
Adherence to WCAG and the technical support of AccessiWay help us ensure that the site is usable by the largest possible number of people, in compliance with the principles of inclusivity and current regulations.

NOTES, COMMENTS AND FEEDBACK

Despite our efforts to allow anyone to adapt the site to their own needs, there may still be pages or sections that are not fully accessible, that are in the process of becoming so, or that do not have an adequate technological solution to make them so.
We are constantly committed to improving our accessibility, by adding, updating and improving options and features, as well as developing and adopting new technologies.

Customisation through our accessibility widget
The accessibility widget provided by AccessiWay is a tool that helps improve the accessibility of the site, making it more usable and compatible with the main assistive technologies.
Through customisable features, it supports inclusive navigation for users with visual, motor, cognitive and neurological disabilities, in line with Italian and European regulations.

The widget is accessible:

• via keyboard at the top of the page (press tab)
• or with the mouse, in a fixed position at the bottom (the “universal access” icon)

Examples of available features:

• Use without sight: press TAB three times or activate screen reader compatible mode
• Limited vision: activate zoom, high contrast, character modification
• Colour disabilities: highlight links, headings and clickable content
• Limited mobility: navigate via keyboard or alternative tools
• Visual sensitivity/photosensitivity: disable animations and activate low visual stimulus palette
